Welcome to the Ten Word Challenge! Please read carefully: This week we will try something very different. There are ten two word phrases listed below. Simply use five of them in a ten line poem. Now, we have ten lines of poetry using five of the two word phrases. Hold on.... yes…there is more…there must be be ten words in each of the ten lines of your poem. So…we have ten two word phrases..you must choose at least five of those phrases to be used in a ten line poem, with each line containing ten words. The word phrases: Easy-peasey - Fools gold – Geez Louise – Pocket change – Salad days – Ship shape – Right on – Temporary insanity – Wishy Washy – Zig zag The challenge will close January2nd, or after 25 poems posted Ten word is a site wide challenge...therefore all poems entered must be open for all to view in order to have a fair vote. Any Poem that does not meet the criteria given for this challenge will be removed from the thread prior to voting.
