Winner is Winning Poem

Welcome to the Ten Word Challenge! Please read carefully: This week we return to Quick Time Lines. The rules are fairly simple.. The ten words for this challenge are given a little differently then in other weeks The words are broken into three groups. Quick time comes into play with the first pair of words. Quickly write a line with the first two given words (whatever comes to your mind); next write a line with the second pair of words. You now have two lines that will form the first and last sentence of your poem. You now use the remaining 6 words in the body of your poem. Remember...you must use the first two words in your first line, and the second pair of words in your last line…the remaining six will be in the rest of your poem. So…we have three groups of words. All used in a poem but in specific order. You poem may be as long or as short as you wish. The word groups: First Pair: Ancestor – Cousin (must use in first line) Second Pair: Daughter – Heiress (must use in last line) Remaining six: Kindred - Mom – Niece – Parent – Sibling – Twin (must use in body of poem) The challenge will close May 15th, or after 25 poems posted Ten word is a site wide challenge...therefore all poems entered must be open for all to view in order to have a fair vote. Any Poem that does not meet the criteria given for this challenge will be removed from the thread prior to voting.
