NEW RULES ... PLEASE READ
Hello folks! Jollynoblefrog had a great idea and so this challenge was born! This will be a Starlite-voted challenge.
The idea is to write a poem in any style and on any subject but the catch is that you have to do it in EXACTLY 40 WORDS.. NO MORE OR NO LESS! Titles do not count in word count of poem. Also...NEW RULES... ampersands ( & ) will not be allowed to replace the word 'and. You can use them but they will not be added in the word count to replace 'and'. Also single letters cannot be used as words... example: B E C A U S E will not count as seven words no matter how they are configured in the poem. THERE MUST BE 40 WORDS IN THE BODY OF THE POEM.. NO MORE OR NO LESS! Do you think you're up to the challenge? Let's see! Ready...set...GOOOOOOOOO!
This challenge ends on the date and time stated above OR upon reaching the limit of 15 poems. Have fun and enjoy!!
All poems entered must be open for all to view! This will allow all Starlite to vote fairly. If your poem is hidden it will not be considered for a win and will be removed without notice.
And a note from your challenge moderator... as moderator of this challenge I would like to thank all of you who have participated in The Quickie Challenges. I do always try to comment on all entries but if I do not please understand I am having some major issues with my eyes and my Starlite time will be cut a bit shorter than I'd like.. but I do read every entry and each of you are appreciated very much!
