Welcome to the Ten Word Challenge:

This week again our challenge is simple! We will be working with our 10/40 format!
What is 10/40? Simply a poem 40 words long, using all 10 words in the body of the poem!.
Remember...the poem must contain only 40 words.

This weeks words:

Austere - Burrow – Contradict – Dismal – Epitaph – Grisly – Maven – Perilous – Siege - Tattered

The challenge will close August 15, or after 25 poems posted


Ten word is a site wide challenge...therefore all poems entered must be open for all to view in order to have a fair vote.
Any Poem that does not meet the criteria given for this challenge will be removed from the thread prior to voting.
Note: The words on some poems are last week's words...I have now changed the words in the index....all poems that used the words given will stay .Thank you
