what the world lost on June 1st
Today, a great man was lost
it will go unheard to the masses
and be washed out by the banes of society
but
Today, a great man was lost
He was loved, and beheld
a man who's talents were only outdone by ambition
a walking example of what Christianity
is, and should be
He was gentle, but strong
a father unmatched in his love for his daughter,
devoted unwavering to the love of his life, his wife,
and had an impeccable taste in music
a man of intelligence and wisdom
(even though he was a Cowboys fan)
he is the inspiration to
'it can be done'
Today, this was lost
He was a man of bravery,
of strength
-perseverance-
With him dies another member
of the Generation of Integrity,
another example of paramour
for this man lived each day as that
-a man-
he was no soldier,
no celebrity,
no diva
he was something more,
he was truly, and wholly
-a Man-
Today, this was lost
So I send this message out
for the world needs to know what it missed
and what the Kingdoms beyond have gained
so that society can learn from this lamb
who's made his way back to the flock
Today, a great man was lost to the world
but not the message
