Virtuous Thoughts (Recovery)
It takes great COURAGE to admit you need help and have led the wrong life for so long.
In AA they embrace you for it, and encourage you to EXCELLENCE in everything you do.
Their GENEROSITY is only exceeded by their kindness and Love, never expecting anything but what you can give at any particular time.
The JUSTICE in this is you can finally live your life free of all mind altering substances and deal with life head on.
Their PRUDENCE is unmatched as well, nobody blabbing your deep dark secrets after a share in the rooms, their SILENCE and TEMPERANCE on these matters very important to their own recovery. It is a learning experience for all.
We VALUE what a newcomer or an oldtimer's WISDOM has to say, for it just might be what we need to hear in our Lives at that very moment.
With Prayer and Meditation we increase our relationship with our Higher Power/God, looking for Spiritual awareness and Progress (ZEN*) not Spiritual Perfection.
