Love Hurts
Take joy in that fact that you can experience love and heartbreak.
Those who are dead are the only ones who should be numb to love.
They only avoid it because they cannot feel emotions at all.
However, don't be fooled by the state of death.
The dead who have pushed love away still linger to feel love.
Even to feel the pain of rejection. Just to feel something at all.
Love hurts.
Pain is part of knowing that we are alive, and to be alive is to be able to love again!
So save the numb heart for death and a broken one for life.
At least you know you can still love again. A broken heart is still a beating heart.
