The Love We Share
You continue to live within the heart of me
The love we share sends me flying free
My spirit soars to heights unknown
Spreading joy with good seeds sown.
Rising above the evilness we can see
Casting forth our love eternally
Riding into the sunset's glow
Creating shadows as we go.
Knowing not what each day brings
Our heart is happy as it sings
Caring not what others may think
Just enjoying being in the pink.
Saying love words sincerely all the while
Laughter wins, faces wear a smile
Happy to be in this favorite spot
Giving and receiving all we've got.
Never forgetting to be thankful for
Love we share, not asking for more
An adventure rare given to you and me
A love that feels so heavenly.
