Wonders of Sight

Mile Marker MCXCVI

Pantoum Verse

Continue circles without pause,
harvesting sorrow's lonely tear.
Give blood to treason's noble cause,
before the daggers thrown appear.

Harvesting sorrow's lonely tear,
remember yesterday's last breath.
Before the daggers thrown appear,
vision with eyes of quickest death.

Remember yesterday's last breath,
forgotten hides tomorrow's clue.
Vision with eyes of quickest death,
see petty life still clinging to.

Forgotten hides tomorrow's clue,
words flow from a soul awakened.
See petty life still clinging to,
spoiled scrapes of love forsakened.

Words flow from a soul awakened,
there's something to be said of sight.
Spoiled scraps of love forsakened,
sincere hope fate would never write.

There's something to be said of sight,
direction taken from the blind.
Sincere hope fate would never write,
protecting statues left behind.

Direction taken from the blind,
consequences for simple crime.
Protecting statues left behind,
embracing weathered scars of time.

Consequences for simple crime,
give blood to treason's noble cause.
Embracing weathered scars of time,
continue circles without pause. . .
