Friends
Have you ever have a day when everything goes wrong ?
Yet at every turn you find yourself talking about God .
The phone rings starting soon as you wake one problem after another .
All I can do is listen and pray I have no answers to there woes .
Then I turn and think well I must be doing something right or they wouldn't call upon me.
Then I thank God for the chance to touch a life and send them to him.
For the chance to help change a life .
It's amazing to me at times how much friends really mean .
I use to be a loner pretty much most of my life .
I had very few real friends and no trust in people after my childhood dreams had shattered.
Yet on line I found myself changed from my old self to a better stronger person inside.
And I have known the feelings of true love of a friend .
My body at times fails me and brings me way down.
It's just the old devil jumping on my back and I will not let him win !
I always look forward to reading my mail even when it's over flown .
And I start reading the beautiful poems that bring joy to my life .
A at times you run across a person that's a true friend and stays around for years.
It amazes me how much love can be found in one space .
The starlite is such a place of family kind of love .
Although I will miss those who have gone I will cherish the memories that live on .
As we adjust to the new I'm use to changes in life .
Yet the love seems even stronger now then before .
I always find a smile in my mail each day so I feel lucky to be thought of .
I really wouldn't call this a poem just a bundle of thoughts and feelings .
I just had to release ,May you all have your angel watching over you and Gods hands of healing around you .
