Just One More Day
Just one more day
to let friends, and family know
just how much for them I care
to ask for God's forgiveness
to say I'll meet Him there.
Just one more day
to get my ducks in a row
papers signed and sealed
to whom my earthy posessions
go ...to be as I have willed.
Just one more day
to tell loved ones my wishes
arrangements to be made
paying for place my body is laid.
Just one more day
to stay upon this earth
then to my heavenly place
where I will meet my Savior
and greet Him face to face.
Just one more day
to tell them I want to meet
each of them at Heaven's gate
I'll be waiting for each to greet.
