Summons

power,
feel the strength of this great wind mounting
sense the spark in the eyes of those around me
it's making my hands quiver, my knees shake
only about ten left, you say?
you're raising up the dead
and they're walking through the halls to our reception of refuge
I will claim it
claim what you said---
''I will make breath enter into you, and you shall live''
just look at what's beginning
there's might in just our walking,
just in our standing

oh you who slithers about their ankles
ties them up
I cast you down beneath my feet with authority
for the ten left are no belonging to you
shudder and shake, you who has set us up for defeat
for we've been taken from our death
and have been made an army
we pull harder and longer than you will be able to stand
we will watch them come running
and you cannot stop it

I encourage you, warriors
take strength in the quiet moments
when you've fallen on your face
and cry with hope and anguish
we stand prepared and ready for the fighting
power,
feel it in you?
feel the great winds whip your hair about your face.

we're standing together.
and soon we'll hear them coming
because they've heard the summons
