As I walked,
down memory lane
A smile appears
as I am recalling,
the day
My soul mate
Did appear
He appeared,
In my life
And asked me,
To be his bride
That was more,
Than thirty years
Ago
As I keep walking
Once again
A smile appears
As I recall the day
I welcomed my bay girl
Into this world
And into my life
As we have walked,
This road of life
As a family
We have made,
some wonderful
Memories
That will last a lifetime
These two people
Mean the world to me
That has blessed my life
Just by loving
Me
They have brought,
happiness
Sunshine and rain
But we have withstood it all
All the joys
Tears, heartaches, and pain
No family
Lives a life together
Without knowing
Some heartache
Some pain
But the love,
We have for each other
Helps us to chase,
The storm clouds
Away
I have some,
wonderful memories
Each one a treasure
I carry in my heart
Taking a walk down,
memory lane
Is good for one’s
Heart
