TO BIRTH A NEW-BORN SEED

She raced the wind and touched the sky
And kissed the cares of life good bye
To live within her dreams.
Her vision cast on things that lie
Above the crest where eagles fly,
And peace has been redeemed.

In Rocky Mountain magic's spell
The days and nights for her bode well,
Above the tundra sounds.
When day was through and evening fell,
Her heart was freed from every spell
That kept her spirit bound.

A child of earth she had become
To light the stars and brush the sun,
Her captive thoughts were freed.
She scooped the sand to leave just one
Awakened thought before her run
To birth a new-born seed.
