I Can't Do It Alone
I need your help dear Lord
I can't do it alone
My memory fails me at times
when it comes to way back then
fear intrudes to haunt me
and all I do is cry
In a split moment...
a bolt of lighting hits
electricity goes through me
and feeds upon my soul
grips me again...
always from my pass
Then I go to the Word of God
where all the answers are
It tells me that the pass is gone
through my faith in you
The truth is found and shielded I am
nothing negative can come in
or haunt this soul again
The warmth of love is in my heart
Jesus Christ is now my goal
I thank you for your help dear Lord
there's harmony flowing everywhere
Your perfect plan is now for me
connected with your tender care
My mind is alert ...
I can sleep peaceful now
setting sail with you Lord
on the other side
where no fear is allowed
and only calm
Your gentle Lord
I'll never deny
what you gave me
the world could never
even try...
