funny thing is ...there's one thing change can't change ...
when change it happens
with it often comes sadness
you see
seeds of time grow with love
to become a life
and though it goes from bud to full bloom
when it reaches maturity
so little time remains to appreciate it's beauty
it's as though
all it's yesterdays are In Pieces on the Ground
like stepping stones along a path
a path taken to Finding the Long Way Home
and now you are here, home
in my heart, and I have discovered
you are The Art of Poetry
and every line upon your face
a beautiful sonnet of love
yes everything changes
but don't be sad my love
