Death Unwelcomed
Taking them aside for their beliefs
Forcing upon them a badge he called shame
Taking their families to cause more grief
Giving them a number removing their name
Living in shacks having no home
Eating the crumbs tossed without care
Stripped of their dignity no pity shown
Stand up and speak they could not dare
Their death occurring at the first of the line
The smell in air of the souls burning
As it wafted among the clouds incline
For their hearts there would be no more yearning
When was it they felt the death occurring
Was it that first day they were pulled aside
When they stared in his eyes so reassuring
Knowing death did there abide
If they had only known their story to be told
In death they would receive their revenge
Being a coward his soul would be sold
God giving it to the devil to avenge
