VIEW TO A CHILL

With snow and shadows on the hills,
You'd never know it's spring.
The daffodils forgot to bloom,
And robins fail to sing.

My Colorado mountain view,
Displays her gown in white.
I'm cozy warm at Starbucks,
So I guess it's quite alright.

It is no secret that I'm glad
When winter turns a chill.
My feet are happy in the snow,
It gives me such a thrill.

But...spring IS nice when she arrives,
Although she takes her time.
Whatever Mother Nature brings,
I think it's just divine!
