IT IS GOOD!

I heard your call from western winds Chinook.
With importunity you cast your spell.
There are no words to speak...though I will try.
To know you is my gain so I must tell.

I felt your strength fill every living thing,
With great anticipation I drew neigh
To witness birthing does begin to nurse
Their spotted new-born fawns beneath spring skies.

I saw your dreams for man and beast alike
Begin to crumble 'neath the weight of time.
I realized that I had played my role...
The burden and the guilt was partly mine.

I tasted bitter brew with tears of pain,
But you began to sooth me in the wild.
You cradled me as mothers often do,
And told me I would always be your child.

I smelled the fragrance of a blooming rose
Although my feet on mountains firmly stood.
I knew your plan and purpose for my days...
A gentle breeze resounded, ''It is good!''
