Could there be a better moment
A more precious time than this
When he dropped to his knees before me
And placed on my belly the softest kiss
When the tears in his eyes were of joy
And he was simply unable to talk
When finally he'd say 'I heard your call'
Couldn't breath, Couldn't hardly walk...
When he smiled, the smile of pure bliss
The smile of a father to be
Who dreamt of his life to better than before
Who dreamt to share that life with me
Could there be a better moment than that
The answer I shall always be sure
It is a whole hearted heavy no
For in that moment I could wish,
For nothing ever more.
