Tears Of Life
Live is not easy I was once told
It is work that will keep you busy
As I grew this truth did unfold
I have shared many joys but all was not easy
Through my school years I worked to achieve
Absorbing all the lessons given to me
With hopes of a diploma to receive
Becoming the best of what I hoped to be
Falling in love and becoming a wife
More lessons and trials to endure
Yet finding reasons to enjoy this life
Never really knowing my future for sure
As a Mother I discovered that all I had learned
Would get me through raising my children
It was as if my whole world had turned
My eyes seeing life not as a burden
Each step I have taken down this road
With all it's winding and rocks along the way
Has brought a blossoming tear, not all sad
To my heart that has grown from love everyday
