ONE MORE DAY ON THIS EARTH

At twilight, when day is done,
After I have watched the setting sun,
I thank God for this glorious day.

At twilight, before sun comes up,
I can face another day.
It comes and nothing will interrupt.

I may face some difficult days ahead.
Sometimes I think I would be better off dead.
But in these times, I`m reminded of those
who are in worse shape than me.
Then I can face all of my reality.

I don`t live in this world alone.
Many before me have gone.
When the last twilight has come,
And I face God and His Son,
I want to hear God say, ''Well done.''

I would like to know that I have made
a difference in someone`s life,
That I have helped some to gain eternal life.

The only thing we can take with us to the other side
Is our loved ones as we`ve helped them stride.
