A Twinkle In Our Eyes
Through out our life
We meet special people
Some will help us through our strive
Others will keep our hearts full
Unfortunately along the way
Some seem to get forgotten
Remembering them then another day
An imprint left on our heart written
Memories of wonderful times gone by
Along our journey through time
Friends become a twinkle in our eye
A part of life so sublime
As we stare into the evening sky
There will always be stars shining there
Each one bringing a memory with a sigh
Of friends who have bothered to care
They have touched our heart
Giving us laughter and joy
With some sadness they did part
Adding happiness to our life their only ploy
