You Give me strength
Together we watch the beautiful dawn
As the soft tides ebb and flow upon the beach
Over the years you have given me strength to see me through
When I haven't been strong, you have given me courage and wisdom
The sunlight shimmers so brightly through the skies this beautiful morning
The sights and sounds of God's gift to us is felt all around
When my spirit was broken you helped me mend the pieces back
A beautiful seagull hovers across the seas and sits down upon a perch
The tides ebb and flow endlessly across the sands so golden
Your love for me shines brightly like a lighthouse beacon
Giving me strength to carry on whenever I weaken
The sands of time swirl in the wind making beautiful sand dunes upon the sand
You give me strength in life to always see me through each day
Your love and words of wisdom carry me in life along the way
When I have felt lost, it was you that helped me to find my way along
You have given me courage and confidence to climb mountains and endure the stormy seas
As we watch the peaceful waters my mind is full of a myriad of my emotions
As I close my eyes listening to the soft ocean surge lapping upon the shores
The smell of the salt water as I feel the soft and gentle ocean spray upon my face
In times of trouble you have always been there for me
As together we watch this beautiful dawn
