The Quiet Place

Here in the serenity of this quiet place
Enveloped within an invisible embrace

Upon the peaks of this mountain top
Graced by cool, foaming waterfalls

Touched by warmth from the yellow sun
Entranced by magic from the full, orange moon

By their magestical beauty
I have been richly blessed

And even though each have faded too soon
They have made an infinite mark
Upon my healed, unsealed heart

No longer in fear do I run
No longer am I soul-sad
No longer my spirit raving mad

Instead
Life flows

Instead
Hope grows

I have found peace,
I have found me

At last
Release

At last
Solace

I now realize
The quiet place
Within myself
Resides
