Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Life In The Shadows

He came to me in the dark of night
Luring me to believe his words
Holding me tight on the edge of life

His touch enticingly convincing
Eyes so full of intense mystery
My ears only hearing the present

Thoughts disappearing into the air
No memory of all those around
His desires becoming my very being

His kiss was quick and found it's mark
No pain was felt as he gripped my very soul
Unaware of what was to be of me

Upon awakening my fear arose
Realizing from this day forward
My life to be spent hiding in the shadows

Consumed by the sun a truthful fear
As with the others that have become accustom
To a life of living within death itself
