A Rose Of Friendship
As my words take me through
This beautiful starlite bouquet
There are many varieties that's true
One glows so much to me everyday
It is a Yellow rose of friendship
I can hold it so close to my heart
It's petals so smooth like chocolate dip
The bloom gently opening in the start
Within each petal is caring
Forgiveness when you make a mistake
It brings with a bit of sharing
Laughter does abound here leaving nothing at stake
Dear sweet Bonnie our Tiny Teddy
You showed me how much we are alike
In each our paths we hold steady
If I goofed things up I wasn't burned at the stake
I know you are going through hard times
Yet you bring such joy along your journey
Sharing your words with all it's rhymes
Raining upon us with such beauty
You my dear friend is what the world
Has blessed us with in friendship
If I could reach out and give you a hug I would
I am so glad to share with you my life's trip
