A Prayer for Strength
I closed my eyes Lord
Listened with my mind
I still have hope Lord
Seek your answers to find
Walk beside me
Walk behind me
Carry me when I can not stand
Let me not sink in this suffocating sand
Open my ears Lord
Help me to hear
The truth in Your Word
Eliminate all my fear
Hold my hand God
Lovingly be my Guide
For this road is far too long
With many rugged mountains to climb
When I feel weak and terribly scared
The reasons sometimes so unclear
Help me escape such hidden snares
Complete my life's appointed endeavors
You are my strength God
You are my sweet song
You live in my heart and soul God
My Faith in You makes me strong
