The Doors of Life
We encounter so many doors
Through out our entire life
When first born we are welcomed
Through the door of our parents heart
As children we push wide open
The doors of ever learning
Opening each part of our mind
To new and exciting experiences
Along this path we sometimes wonder
If we should have turned before it swung shut
But we should never regret our decisions
For live is forever moving forward
We must learn from our errors
Making sure to never relive them
Growing from our lessons that nourish
Ever pushing forward on those swinging doors
Upon reaching our final door
Being given a glance back through
We can hopefully say there are no regrets
For we have loved and grown and most of all
We are very proud to be the person we have become
