Faith and Hope
This is the story about Faith and Hope
Through trials, God helped this family to cope,
and rescued them from the end of their rope
as He showed a view from His perfect scope
Ecstatic with joy, their lives changed that day
It was the moment for which they had prayed
Ringing everyone without a delay,
they said her beautiful name would be Faith
Tears of joy turned to tears of sadness
Mournful news arrived with hospital men
The child's condition was told; they knew then
It was God's will that she live in Heaven
Each member weeped with this tragic heartbreak,
but they know God doesn't cause a mistake
This reassuring thought they did partake-
in the angels' presence she did awake
A few years later, a joy came again
This time the reaction was much more plain-
Resurfaced was that past tremendous pain
but sorrowful thoughts they wouldn't entertain
Only happiness did they ever show
Because in their hearts they would always know
that God would never leave their side and so
this precious little girl's name would be Hope
