IN THE MARKET

When I went to the market one morning,
I saw a fat man with a face very boring.
I saw many shops of toys,
But at glance I saw the shop filled with small boys.
I saw a shop of furniture-
Decorated with beautiful household miniature.
On my left I saw a shop of dresses
I stepped for a moment to notice the fine
art of ribbons and laces.
Two paces front I saw a vegetable shop,
So to spend my time I bought a red lollipop!
I pleaded the vendors to give some fresh
vegetables at a reduced rate,
But they begged me to pay them at a high rate;
Next I took a look at the grocer's shop,
And took a look at the food grains that were on the top.
After some halt I went to the shop of the shoes,
And wore them which were very loose.
I hurried home to narrate my strange
adventures in the market place
And so I ran with my friends a race.
