Ants Are Smart
I searched for many years for the answer
And these years rolled into millennia
In my search for the answer to the question
That rolled around in my head and dreams
A question so very simple
Yet so deep and profound
Through the years I searched for the answer
And the answer forever evaded me
I travelled to strange and distant planets
And various parallel universes
Millions of life forms and creatures I met
And millions of writings I read
But the answer to this question never came
It never came to speak to me
And with great knowledge came great sorrow
And the answer never came
If only I could bend all space and time
And swallow them so deep inside
Then I might find the answer
If I only could converse with the stars
In the language of star
Then I might find the reason why
If only I could scale the walls of infinity
I am very sure the answer would come to me
I then looked at the ground between my feet
And saw a simple insignificant ant
And found the answer to the question
The answer was in the ant.
