I love it
when the diffusion of light
either creates
or begins to destroy shadows.
It’s a time of
possibilities.

swirl riotously
with the shadows
of twilight.
And no matter where you turn,
one way or the other,
ensnares you
with its smile.

of your kiss
that killed me.
And the swirl
of your solstice
that gave me life.

as I reached for your hand
and Winter’s touch.
