Pages Of The Heart
If my heart could write a book
revealing my love to you,
these
pages of the heart
just might make you want me too.
For there is a love that burns deep within
it would love to come out through the door
a love that wants to love you,
like you've never been loved before.
If my heart could speak
then what would it say?
would it answer the questions
that I ask it each day?
Would it confirm to me
what I know to be true?
that I was not alive
'til I layed eyes upon you.
My words would tell, how I long for you
every hour of every day,
and of how you set my heart afire,
never wanting the flame to go away.
It would explain a lot of things
but importantly this,
why I become hopelessly lost
when thinking of your warm kiss.
It would tell you that
I've been travelling through,
many lonely oceans of time
before I found you.
It would tell you the reason
why I carry a flame,
that will only ignite
to the sound of your name.
It's because this love of mine is yearning
it wants to come out and capture your heart.
It's longing to whisper these words to you,
'I will love you till death do us part'.
I know my heart would make you see
all the love that I possess.
I would give you all that you desire,
to bring you much happiness.
My heart would explain to you
how you always light up my day,
and thoughts of you warm up my nights,
Oh.. if only your love would come my way!
If asked, my heart would simply confirm
what I know to be true.
It would confirm that it and I,
are so in love with you.
Honey, this love is waiting to kiss your lips
wants to share every bodily pleasure.
I know the love my heart can give,
that your heart will forever treasure.
Please tell me that I can release this love,
and send it right out to you.
For I can no longer keep these feelings in,
so I hope you have these feelings too!

because my heart belongs to YOU!
