Dream Sustenance

Dream Sustenance

What of the dreamer who dreams her dreams
Head in the clouds grasping at the unreachable things
Is it just a matter of belief or perhaps a sign of insanity?

She smiles seems happy enjoying times we almost miss
“They” think however appearances aren’t always as they seem
Discounting her imagined blissfulness to unattainable pipe dreams

Her steadfast belief wavers not in the hum of adversity
She has seen the truth in what can become of once imagined things
Wishes only she could give “them” the splendor and delight hope can bring

She dreams and dreams beyond fairytales mystical happenings
Finding the best stories are brought to life within her own creativity
Nurturing them, keeping them alive without her they cannot possibly survive

What of this dreamer who dreams and believes in impossible things
She is happy, optimistic, blessed to experience joy in each and every moment
She encourage the defiance of impossibility by living a life sustained by dreams
