Bewilderment often sets in
When words that speak
Cannot reach the peak
Of gratitude within my heart
I choose to radiate joy
In every hour, every day
Banishing phantoms of yesterday
With the light of gratitude’s rays
Each day promises of hope
Glimmer in sparkling sunbeams
Forever sustained by dreams
How grateful I am to know this feeling
Our memories, our moments forever
Often entwine with dreams come true
Meaning lives within everything we do
Spectacular memories are vivid with gratitude
I invite the doubtful cynic to let the light in
Words that speak volumes emanate from the heart
Behind every cloud I pass exists a silver lining of joy
Even in the difficult time I find see the glimmer of thankful rays
Continuing to believe that dreams give birth to hope
Perhaps by living and sharing the joy of this feeling
I can light a flame that shall burn long past forever
Signifying the depth for words cannot express my gratitude
