Sustenance

Sustenance

This is when
Breathing oxygen
Cannot be
What sustains
Me, because you are the air
That I breathe

Here and now
Time ceases somehow
Yet heartbeat
Quickens with
Each lush suspended second
That I breathe

Echoes wend
In sighs' woven blend
Rise as one
Kiss of sun
Passionate heat melts the air
That I breather

Bliss is when
World stands still again
Breathless smile
Begs for you
Body and soul sultry air
That I breathe

Stillness aches
Wanton desires quake
Crave sated
Sighs' whisper
The only sustenance we
Need to breathe
