Hating to Remember

Photobucket

When I awoke from dreams so real ,
Remember when love were moments I dared to feel
I must awake and save my soul, awaken it is time to go
Back to where my mind can gain control

There's fear the dream's golden, best make retreat
With little moves make, and not both feet
Lest he wakes and reads my very thoughts
He’ll beat me blue and leave love to rot

Yet with his love I'm weak and boldness hides
Hold onto truth and now must decide
My thought predicts too much I’ll miss and much to waste
Where abuse flayed me senseless, and blood I taste
The honey from his kisses, sweet hidden lies
His heart is dark and can’t disguise.
I venture out of dreams where love decends
Not fearful now, as my knees bend
My dreams in poetry are high dreams indeed
I must escape his hold, before I bleed
I remember when his love beguiled
And nights of passion drove me wild
But then the truth lay bare his soul
To break my heart was his real goal
And my spirit to die, faith fail as well
Not for me, dark knight, not this living hell
