Eagle Eyes
With the eyes of an eagle
We are watching you
Destroy our faith in fellow Americans…
Changing the red, white and blue;
With your shady dealings;
Meetings in the dark;
Taking control of each soul;
Leaving an ink-stained mark
Upon our Constitution
With laws unread by most;
If the truth was known
Most, out, would be thrown
Yet, you just ignore and boast
About all of your “successes”
Which really are just lies;
Just goes to show
To those in the “know”
All that money buys…
Yet, there are still those among us
Who believe in what you want to destroy
Because in our hearts and minds we still see
Freedom, Life, and Liberty;
And like our Founding Fathers
We will continue the fights
Against those who want to take away
Just about every day
Each of our God-given rights.
