Each one spoken out of love
You have this extra special way
Of sharing love, light and faith
That can lift the most broken spirit
To a higher place, to a better view
To feel the joy and see life as you do
Many times when we first met
You offered your love, your friendship
Shining beautiful sunshine into my life
And adopting me as one of your own
The light that shines through your poetry
The love and caring in all your friendships
The fighting spirit that awes me with its strength
Helped me to carry on when I needed them most
Now I believe with all my heart and soul
These beautiful qualities you possess now lift you
Soar, shine and smile my dear Mama Sonshine
You are the essence of love, faith and joy
Now it is my turn to hold you up in prayer
To shower down upon you love, joy and light
