Elusive Search
beyond a chasm deep and dark
they lay just beyond my reach
so on a journey I embark
attempting the gap to breach
in ghostly form I see them there
they tantalize and taunt me
until on the brink of despair
seem to listen to my plea
calling to me as to invite
me into their very schemes
but though I try as I might
I cannot grab hold of my dreams
Simplicity – just beyond (my) reach
