Remembering Mom

Pray tell!
What comfort is there in death
to those left behind to weep,
in a twilight state I see thee
only as in sleep

My God! arise,so that I may once again
see you smile
to hold you once again
to feel the warmth,of a mothers touch
I loved you, Oh so much

I'm sorry now,for things that I have said,
and did not say
I weep now, within my heart
for you have gone away

But yet! a smile does come
now and then to brighten my day

Remembering, remembering when,
I was but a little kid
and you were my everything
for you were my mom
