Dancing In the Moonlight
I sit at waters edge
with the moon and fireflies as the only light.
The reflection they cast leaves me in amazement
of the awesome wonders God gives so freely.
How awesome it would be to dance
across the water as the reflections that
now lie before me. To cast ones own
light of love for the world to see.
To be so lite and carefree with
no constraints of feeling or motion.
To have that loving support and
not face all tomorrows alone.
To know that where ever you travel
you cast out a loving bright light
that leaves traces of you behind
never to be forgotten.
Life is not all Fireflies and Moonlight
but it should not be totally void either
It is said life is what you make of it
but then it also goes with what is given.
My life is not as I would have dreamed
Days are oh so long
yet the nights are even longer
Complaining?
No not really...
I guess just wishing there was more...
Well it's late, my coffee cup is empty
and the air is chilling
The fireflies have all gone home
and Mr. Moon has said farewell for today
As must I....
