Bare Flesh On Sand .........AC

Photobucket

Their fingers gently interlocking,
each clasped the other's hand.
In silence whilst they slowly walked,
on the soft, warm, evening sand.

Just an occasional inquiring glance,
into the others eyes.
Spirits in a romantic waltz,
such depth of feeling a surprise.

Anticipation at sunset
they both felt rising of allure;
Gazing into eyes of passion
Waves kissed shore where they were.

After months of sharing feelings
Romance drew them to this place
Not planning to break their vows,
all was forgotten as he lifted her face.

As if he held a butterfly,
or fragrant petal of a rose.
He held her face in both hands,
and momentarily he froze …

He knew her beauty and could see
the longing, yearning in her eyes
When their lips softly met,
in that first tender kiss, no surprise …

Arms encircling each other,
fingers reaching, grasping, holding.
Secret games with tongues,
their mutual passion now unfolding …

As their ardour rose like steam
Flaming emotions grew intense
Fingers and lips pleasuring the senses
Need for more growing immense

Eyes reflecting pools of desire
Tracing fingers down her spine
All awareness stolen in this moment
Only shadows in the moonlight divine

Each undressed the other, slowly,
without a word or sound.
Save the light breathless moans
of mutual pleasure they both lay down

When the final garments touched down
they eased together onto nature's floor
The warmth of the grainy beach carpet
where lips and fingers explored

They both drew out the pleasure
thus increasing the intensity reached
Until amidst wild pants of breathing
they became one on that beach

Their mental anticipation had prepared
now their bodies met the demand
Consummation of their feelings
Now, bare flesh on the sand …
