Filled with moments,
Moments to remember...
Moments to forget
Moments that together
Bridge from birth and death.
Most pass almost unnoticed
Bringing neither joy or regret
Some few leave indelible impressions
On a life, a heart, a soul,
We cannot foresee what circumstance
What sequence will bring the joy or the pain?
We take a chance on life,
And life changes us
Sometimes the changes are good
Creating growth and mastery
Allowing our spirits to soar
Beyond the artificial walls we have erected
Only tomorrow and forever
Can we learn what is good...
And what is not...
Loving you and leaving you
Will change me
God alone knows how!
