I Am Truly Blessed
I was a non-believer. But one day...as I was standing outside...I looked up to the sky and saw the most beautiful rays of sunshine shining through the clouds. A feeling of the most blessed peace washed over me - and I suddenly knew it was time to follow Jesus.
On Christmas eve we were burning candles in the bedroom and at exactly midnight -Christmas morning as I glanced at the wall I saw shadows from the candles forming perfect faces of Jesus and the blessed Virgin Mary.
One night as I was sound asleep I suddenly awoke and saw a shining person standing there... at first I was so terrified I thought I was having a nightmare - until I suddenly realized it was an angel of God giving me a message to hold on to.
There have been times when I've been reading the Bible when suddenly at random times my son would suddenly speak the exact words I'd been reading about...engraving certain messages in my mind.
My great grandpa was in the hospital lying there completely unconscious...and with my own eyes I saw him suddenly sit straight up in bed and throw open his arms and say 'Take me, Lord!' But God did not take him at that time. He awoke from unconsciousness and told us that God had told him to go back because it wasn't his time.
My grandpa was being kept alive on life support and my family decided to let him go.
And when they turned off all the machines he awoke and looked at my grandma and whispered 'I love you' before he closed his eyes for the final time.
Do I believe in miracles? There is no doubt in my mind that we have a wonderful Father in heaven who loves us and watches over us every day - and my life is truly, amazingly blessed
