An ACTIVE/INACTIVE CONSCIENCE.
I cannot even leave the lid off the peanut butter jar, or leave the
toilet seat up, or not hold a door open for someone, or not write a thank
you back for a comment left on a poem of mine, take the last coffee pod
for the coffee maker, forget lying can't do it, or not make an effort to
get in touch with former girl friends that broke up with me all due to an
active conscience.
On the other hand we have men like Chaney, who made blood money
over the Iraq war; the man like John Roberts who had an affair while his wife
had cancer. The men who put on Pit Bull dog fights, for money, while the
dogs fight to death. The men like OJ Simpson who steal young woman's
hearts and then cut them to pieces. The men like Barry Bonds who take
steroids and deny it to the paying public.
An Active/Inactive Conscience.
