Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Memory

Her emerald eyes clouded with love and memories
Her hair that smelled like cigarettes and perfume
Little wrinkles around her chin
A baby gap between her two front teeth when she smiled
And big, warm hugs
Followed by, 'I love you, too.'

All of these hold her in my heart
Like many threads tied together into an impenetrable knot.

Because I can never feel her again,
I know that beauty is beyond skin deep.
