Leaving Home!
It's hard to leave your home in good times,
When you're happily married and moving on.
Moving into your husbands home seems so natural,
An adjustment period soon follows but you're still ok.
Then something horrid happens and you're forced to run,
Leaving your new life and home behind.
Forced to move to a new place, a slower time,
Your life's been uprooted and quickly changes.
Hurting you and many others,
Leaving scars that can never heal.
Knowing you left your life behind,
In a place you will always wish you could return.
