Loves Unfolding Dream

Ti's said for man time marches on
Not sure I can agree
For you came along and changed all that
Now I live in memory

Forever lost in loves unfolding dream...

Time stopped..there on that tiny shred of beach,
where under the half eaten yellow moon
neath fluffy marshmellow clouds ..purple shadows
of evening scudded across the vault of heaven..
and we lay there all alone..

We both felt lazy laying there, tracing circles in
the soft shimmering sand with our bare toes..
as we watched the waves creep slowly
toward the shore...while nearby
palm trees swayed gently in the jasmine
scented breeze...

Ah! Yes the evening was lovely as heaven
gave birth to a million stars ..and holding
you darling turned into a journey headed
towards Mars.

A lover's concerto echoed inside my head as our
fingers touched and thus emboldened trailed
a lazy path between our secret places... seeking
recognition .. that knowing awareness that had
only existed in my wildest imagining

Your breath.. like a baby's sigh invaded my brain
like the tinkling of fairy dancing...and sent my
straining body searching for your truth..that
wonderful pot of gold at the end every lover's
rainbow

I could not help but wonder ..had I ever lived before

I saw your alabaster body gleam .. like a marble statue
granted life, as I watched the tiny fireflies of your
disire begin to smolder in your smokey eyes
half hidden behind the ebony curtain of eyelashes...

Suddenly my heart was a fluttering bird still caged
struggling to break free and my soul screams
as at last your smile granted its one disire

I leaned over to sweetly kiss your lips and taste
honeyed fruit ..slow ripened by a doting sun...
Just one taste and my body turned to liquid fire
as the world exploded around me...

Tis then for me time stopped.. leaving me to live
captive in that moment .. to evermore relive the
magic of our first kiss...
